WHCRWA – Withdrawal of Stage 2 Drought Conditions and Reinitiation of Stage 1
Please be advised that effective October 11, 2023, the West Harris County Regional Water Authority (the “Authority”) withdrew implementation of Stage 2 of its Drought Contingency Plan and reinitiated implementation of Stage 1 of its Drought Contingency Plan.
Under Stage 1, the Authority continues to request all water users to voluntarily reduce their water usage. The Authority will continue to monitor water use and will provide another notice if the drought stage changes or if Stage 1 drought conditions have been lifted. Please keep in mind that, despite the recent cooler and wetter conditions, drought conditions remain in the Houston region. Thank you for your cooperation. Drought conditions impact all of us. Please stay informed, use common sense, and avoid wasting water.

For the service to be cancelled, a cancel service form is required. Service can be cancelled by emailing the cancel service form, mailing it to us, or coming into one of our offices to fill out the form. Service will not be finalized until H2O Innovation – Trusted Utility Partners (formerly Gulf Utility Service, Inc.), receives the cancel service form.
Both forms have editable fields you can fill directly on your phone or computer. Once completed, send the filled form at customercare.cypress@h2oinnovation.com, return it to one of our office locations, or fax it to 281-355-1312.
A deposit from $200.00 and a application fee of $25.00 will be collected. This will need to be paid by a check or money order, credit/debit card or eCheck. All information can be brought into one of our locations, sent to our PO Box or our 24-hour night drop box.
